Meet Connie
Welcome to photos by Ducky,
My name is Connie Maassen, I am the face behind the lens.
My goal is to capture and freeze in time that special moment and not to let it slip away. To seize the opportunities and reveal that special setting and angle that elude most folks.
It is to flatter my subjects and expose them in the best possible light and reward them with split second memories that they will enjoy for a lifetime.
There are several benchmarks in one person's lifetime that are usually overloaded with commitments and emotions, so much so that it is so common to miss some of the beauty and interaction that surrounds you at any particular moment.
My goal is to capture those moments so that you can relive them over and over again and truly enjoy them through photography.
I don’t like to refer to my work as pictures, they are photographs, it captures a person's spirit and emotion in a frozen moment. Photographs have a story to tell, and every time you look at them, they should evoke the same emotion. That is when I achieved my goal.
Photography for most of us is not a job or a pass time, it is a passion, and it will reflect in the quality of the work. A photographer should have a keen eye and a different focus on life and the things that surround us in our everyday lives and showcase them in a way that has escaped the common eye.
